The Sámi Culture Centre by the Juutuanjoki River and Lake Inari houses premises for the Finnish Sámi Parliament as well as a municipal library and facilities for research and education on the tradition and culture of the Sámi people. The culture centre serves as a meeting point for local people offering flexible spaces for indoor and outdoor events. The gently sloping roof and the wooden structures link the building to the scenery and building tradition of Northern Lapland.
